Competition officials from ASEAN and the EU gathered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the 1st ASEAN – EU Competition Week, to develop a common understanding on competition law developments and challenges faced in both regions.
Competition commissioners and agency leaders from all ASEAN Member States, Australia and New Zealand met to discuss international competition law developments and their work to strengthen competition law institutions in the region.
ASEAN competition officials attended the Brainstorming Meeting to discuss the key elements of the ASEAN Peer Review process. The objective of the peer review exercise is to enable AMS to review the effectiveness of their national competition regimes
