- ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA)
The AANZFTA is a comprehensive and single-undertaking economic agreement that opens up and creates new opportunities for the 600 million peoples of ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand which have a combined economic output of USD 2.65 trillion via a platform of a more liberal, facilitative and transparent market access and investment regimes among the signatories to the Agreement. The Agreement was signed on 27 February 2009 in Thailand. It entered into force on 1 January 2010. The full text can be downloaded here.
- Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP)
The RCEP is a 16-party FTA involving ASEAN nations and ASEAN’s FTA partners namely Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and New Zealand. Negotiations started in 2013 and are expected to be concluded by end 2016.
