The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) organized a 3-day workshop on Merger Review and Analysis last Jan. 17-19 in Pasig City.

Asking the hard questions on merger transactions and citing different legal scenarios, the lawyers and economists of the PCC consulted with FTC’s international competition experts Nicholas J. Franczyk and Timothy T. Hughes.

Hughes and Franczyk shared the best practices on the legal principles of market competition, analytical frameworks and investigative techniques.
