PHILIPPINES—The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) hosted the 30th ASEAN Experts Group on Competition (AEGC) Meeting and other related meetings, alongside the 4th?ASEAN Heads of Competition Agencies (AHCA) Meeting on 13-17 March 2023 in Palawan, Philippines. 

These meetings convened the heads and officials of competition authorities from ASEAN Member States (AMS) and discussed recent developments on key deliverables under the ASEAN Competition Action Plan (ACAP) 2025 and other cooperation activities. The meeting also discussed the engagements and major capacity building programs supported by the development partners. 

The week-long gathering is the first of two AEGC meetings this year hosted by the Philippines under new PCC administration led by Chairperson Michael G. Aguinaldo, Commissioners Lolibeth Ramit-Medrano, Ferdinand M. Negre, Michael B. Peloton, and Marah Victoria S. Querol.
