The proposed transaction is an all-share acquisition by John Wood Group Plc of the shares of AMEC Foster Wheeler. Wood Group is an international technical services company across 40 countries. AMEC serves major firms in the oil, gas & chemicals, mining, power and environment and infrastructure markets, offering consultancy, engineering, project management, and specialized power equipment services.
